Justin Hosek and his FOYOBISHI AE86/4G86!!!!!

Decided to yank the "A" out from between the 4 & "G" and toss in a "63" into the mix? Well, whether it's a 4G, 6G or any other member of the "Mitsubishi Motors" engine family, you're more than welcome to call this section home.

McKenney wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the 4g63 a reverse rotation engine like all older Hondas were? I know there were 4g64 rwd versions, but no 4g63's that I know of. I know Buschur has a rwd 4g powered Talon.
It still spins clockwise. The difference between the EVO and the Talons/Eclipse GTX is the counter rotating shaft for the tranny. The EVO does away with that (that's also one less component to add to drive train power loss) with the plant being mounted on the pass (RH) side. Great question though :tu:

Thanks man it's been a real pain this week. Not getting to mout the electric water pump like I wanted but o well it's making progress. Like Jonas said the motors spin clockwise like a normal rwd motor. Marty at auto comp is getting the rear end together will drop the car off when I get the piping and wiring finished

Yeah, he called me up excited he found his old Rolla unmolested. I got the giggles when he told me he was planning on pulling the turbo'd 4 banger from his T-Bird. That thing has torque and then in the 86...hehehe

Great updates Justin :tu:! I love the e-H2O pump. The gears are turning in my head for a better solution for my 4AG now plus other things. Again, awesome updates! Can't wait to see the updates post-Autocomp.

Hey Justin, I was looking at your water routing and I was wondering: how does the coolant route through the 4G? I know with Miatas and 4AGs it goes lower radiator outlet > water pump > head > front upper water neck > upper radiator inlet > repeat.
