RX7 Caliper Brackets [ Flat Black this time]

Post by mesh on my rolla »

Since these are becoming hard to find, let alone produce at a affordable price I decided to make my own and a few sets more. These bracket are for mini cooper rotors. Made out of two piece steel. 1/4" steel base attach to spindle and 7/16" steel as the correct spacing and distance to mount caliper. Tig welded with 3/32 rod on both sides. Also 1/4" dowel Stainless pins (3 per set rated at 8,000 lbs. each) Will include four(4) grade 10.6 bolts to mount caliper to bracket. Powder coated Flat Black

brackets are $170
pick up and $190 shipped

My friend at Rotora can cut me sets of rotors. 276mm Cross-drilled, sloted and vented rotors. $200 pick up and $215 shipped (Need payment up front and 7-9 business days for lead time)

No trades or B.S. Gentlemen. Feel free to P.M. me or email at convertiblerb20det at yahoo.com

Thanks for looking....

not bad, the welds look rough, but it's steel over aluminum(and I'd much rather have strong ugly welds, than weak pretty ones), so that's forgivable. I know for a fact the rotors are over $150 each retail themselves so it's a good deal for the set.

but really man... sparkly pink?

Ha ha McKenney! Well, you don't see the Pepto Bismal (w/ icey fresh mints) much sandwiched between all that hardware.

That's pretty cool. Do you have to do any other modifications like a different brake booster, proportioning valve, etc to run these brakes?
