Clutch Master

Post by CBR_TOY »

if you guys need a clutch master cylinder go to o'reiley's

lifetime warranty and it's worth it. just replaced mine and it's easy

this is the one you get from them.... notice it has two studs and not one like the factory unit

well to make this work you take two nuts and tighten them onto it as such so you can back the stud out

Image

after you get the stud out you must then make that hole a tad bigger so the existing stud can pass through it using one of these or something similar to it

AND FOR 41 BUCKS AND A LIFETIME GUARANTEE YOU CAN'T BEAT IT.

on a side note this is a gt-s so you SR5 guys might be different

i bought mine from autozone for 37.99 with lifetime warranty. If you get it from autozone specify COUPE, even if you have a hatchback because the "liftback" is the front wheel drive 4 door hatch in their system.

I took pictures....I remember cutting a welded stud off or something screwed up on the clutch petal assembly inside of the car.

I'm not a small guy and I was able to get under the dash of a corolla... if I did it anybody can

there's nothing to cut.... just remove the stud and make the hole bigger

yes i did, it shifts like a f-bombing dream now compared to when i had that older clutch master cylinder. i bled the line for the 1st time since i got the car like 15 times and it still spits like shit and i ran out of fluid so i will try to get all the air completely out 2 morrow.

yea make sure you keep the master full while bleeding so you don't get air in there.

i put a new master/slave on mine and it works great.

good luck nasser and whenever you get it done let me know so we can meet and i can give you those parts
